The other day on TV, I saw a piece about Yelp.com. Other sites have tried to do what Yelp does, but failed. Apparently, Yelp actually does it well. When visiting a city, one can go to Yelp and search for services in that city and read reviews written by other tourists and locals. You can search anything, like “Italian restaurants” or “acupuncture.” They also have some surprisingly cool merchandise in the store. I haven’t tried out Yelp, yet, but I plan to next time I go somewhere. Check it out.
